
Janet L. Fath works with the Immunization Information Systems Support Branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Prior to joining the CDC, Janet ran her own consulting firm, J. L. Fath, Inc., and undertook UX-related projects in the public health, retail, and online information industries. She started her career with usability research positions at IBM and Search Technology, Inc. Her work has spanned most aspects of user-centered interface design and development, including usability testing, rapid prototyping, information architecture, and user interface documentation. Janet holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech and a B.S.I.E. degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
