Rachel Walsh

User Research Manager

Rachel Recently became a User Research Manager at Mailchimp, moving from her previous position as the VP of Research and Operations at User Insight.

As the Vice President of Research and Operations, Rachel focuses on building a strong company culture at User Insight through employee coaching. Rachel is responsible for optimizing User Insightʼs talent for each client engagement, as well as making strategic business decisions, in collaboration with the executive team. As a senior researcher, Rachel manages User Insightʼs research team and moderates select projects.

Rachel has more than 10 years of managerial experience, first in the financial services industry, managing client service teams and working with the investor relations officers at many Fortune 500 companies. Rachel was promoted to her current role at User Insight after serving as the companyʼs Director of Operations, managing internal functions, recruiting, front of house staff and internal analysis. In addition to her professional endeavors, Rachel also offers mentorship to prospective students in support of her alma mater, Simmons College. She also counsels local UGA and Georgia Tech students on a bi-annual basis through User Insightʼs educational partnerships.
