Career Outcomes

Upon completing the MS-HCI Program, graduates secure meaningful employment opportunities. Typical job titles include UX Researcher, UX Designer, Front-end Developer, Content Strategist, Product Manager, and more. Our alumni work for a diverse array of employers, spanning large multinational technology firms, design studios, healthcare organizations, government agencies, and game development. With a legacy dating back to 1996, our program boasts a substantial alumni network.

The Program offers robust support for students pursuing internships and full-time employment. In the mandatory Professional Practice and Preparation course, students acquire essential skills such as resume and portfolio development, public speaking, and negotiation. They also engage in one-on-one sessions with HCI professionals for mock interviews and feedback on their resumes and portfolios. Job and internship opportunities are regularly disseminated to students, and we invite recruiters and other HCI professionals to connect with students. Additionally, we organize Interactivity@GT, our annual research showcase and networking event each spring.
