Arturo Núñez is the Domain Expert Director of Convergence of Data and Power for Southwire. Before joining Southwire, he was the Senior Manager of Asset Monitoring and Substation Reliability Center of Excellence (COE) Manager for MISTRAS Group where he managed hundreds of projects for testing and monitoring HV assets in 20+ countries. He helped develop remote monitoring instrumentation, applications and a technology package and was the principal investigator on research projects with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). Mr. Núñez also worked as a Research Engineer at the Electrical Research Institute of Mexico. Núñez is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) where he participates in the development of standards and is a member of the International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE).
